W2K Server is a member server under an SBS2000 Server.
This system has been running for some time. After a reboot
the local machine no longer shows up as a selection to log
into. Only the SBS2000 Server is avaialble. What happened
to the local machine?

Sounds to me like DCPROMO was run on this machine.
The only reason a machine will not have a local computer
account to logon to is if it's a domain controller. You
can only logon to the domain from a domain controller,
there are no local account. Check to see if active
directory is installed on this computer, if so you can run
DCPROMO again to demote this from a domain controller to a
member server, this will allow you to logon locally using
the local machine to authenticate you.
