Local GPO's gpt.ini is not accessible - Router

Hello,

I have a Windows 2000 Server based network set up with about 15 clients.
Two of these clients are behind a D-Link Di-624 Wireless Router. I've
disabled DHCP in the router so the client get their IP from the Server. The
clients log in no problem, run the log on script and everything seems except
the client cannont get their roaming profile from the server. The
"userenv.log" returns :"Local GPO's gpt.ini is not accessible, assuming
default state.".

Any ideas on how to fix?

The first thing, How is the TCP/IP DNS it must point to the DNS Server
holding the dns zone for your active directory domain.

Bear with me as I am self taught when it comes to this but here it goes.
The clients are set up like the rest of the clients in the office to obtain
IP and DNS information automatically.

The client name is "sdi045" and I have no trouble pinging this name from the
server (which is on the other side of the WL router). The server is defined
as 10.0.0.2 (which is both the domain server and the dns).

Can you offer where to go next?

Can you access the path from the client manually

\\heregoseyourdomainname.com\SYSVOL\chrisse.local\Policies

(Replace "heregoseyourdomainname.com" with your domain dns name)
 
Not sure if this is what you mean but I can access from the client:

\\Sdiserver\SYSVOL\SDIDOMAIN\Policies\{31B2F340-016D-11D2-945F-00C04FB984F9}

Sdiserver is the name of my Domain controller/DNS server
SDIDOMAIN is the name of the domain

In the Policies directory there is actually 3 different folders...the one
above plus two others.

When I go into Active Directory Users and Computers on the Server, click
Properties on the Domain, click the Group Policy tab, then click Properties
for the Default Domain Policy the Unique Name is the name shown above.

Does this get us any further?
