Is there anyway to come out of PC that has local GP enable. I accidently lock
my pc down. following has been locked down....

my computer
commmand promtp
run
my network settings

Reverse the curse. Log on locally to your system using the Admin
account and remove the GPO you established that removes my computer,
command prompt, etc. Those are in the ADM templates.

Visit http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm and scroll way down
to Item No. 296 titled: "Lift MMC/GPEDIT Snap-In Restrictions".

hehe... I know what's going on. Read up on the MMC called Security
Configuration and Analysis. Open up an MMC, load the snap-ins Sec.
configuartion and Analysis and the Security Templates. Create a new
database:

1. Right-click the Security Configuration and Analysis scope item
2. Click Open Database
3. Type a new database name, and then click Open
4. Select a security template to import, and then click Open

I would import the least restrictive template called Basicwk. Once
imported you will need to configure your computer.

1. Right-click the Security Configuration and Analysis scope item
2. Select Configure Computer Now
3. In the dialog, type the name of the log file you wish to view, and
then click OK.

Next reboot and see what happens. ;)
