local drivers terminal client

on our old server 2000, we have recently installed several remote terminal
clients accounts. Now, although we have stipulated in the account properties
and in the RDP file, that local drives of the client should be connected,
never they are visible or connected. Anyone an idea what we are doing wrong?

This facility works only on Windows 2003 servers and on Windows XP.
