hi,

i am using a thin client with windows 2003 terminal services. is there a way
to make the local cd rom available to the user? also, is there a way to hide
the drives on the server from users?

note since i am using a thin client, the user does not login through remote
desktop. so it is not possible to check off "allow local drives"

thanks,
jen

If you go into terminal services configuration and select the RDC
protocol you can set those checkboxes for all users. This will make all
users not get their drives mapped, but then you probably want it that
way. You can also limit color depth and everything from the same place.
