Hope this helps...
Windows tends to be quite annoying with thinking that you
need their software and that you won't want to get rid of
it, which is why there are some things that you can't
take out in add/remove programs.
msmsgs.exe -- is Windows Messenger (the annoying little
Instant Message program that everyone gets but no one
really wants. You can't just go into add/remove programs
and take it out either. Instead of this being a HUGE
post, im not going to tell you how to get rid of it. Im
just going to say do a search on the internet for 'how to
remove windows messenger in windows XP' or something like
that... you'll be able to find lots of pages that tell
you how to remove it... The best method is the one where
you change a few things around and then it comes up in
add/remove programs... that should take almost everything
out...
If you remove that successfully then msmsgs will not be
able to open those ports anymore...
