Local area connection vanished !! plz help

Hi every body,

My problem is, when i right click on "My network places" then properties, i
can't see the local network connection icon anymore !!
my network is working, ipconfig shows all the params but i can't change them
anymore !!

The only icon i see is "Make a new connection"

If someone can help me to restore these location !!

Try re-installing the driver for your network adapter.
You could also replace it with a different adapter.
