Local Area Connection 2

I have a user with a Dell Latitude CPxH hooked into a
docking station. He constantly receives a pop up balloon
in his taskbar informing that the Local Area Connection 2
has a network cable that is unplugged. However, his
connection is fine. I have installed the latest version
of the NIC driver in the docking station, but he still
receives the same message. Does anybody know what else I
could try to stop the message?

If that connection isn't being used, disable it. Otherwise, try the
fix in this article, even if it's a different network card:
