LoadUserProfile call failed

Hello All,
I am getting an error message in the event viewer under system that says
"The LoadUserProfile call failed with the following error: Access is denied.
" The source is the Service Control Manager I am an administrator on the
machine and I get no other error messages while logging in. Any idea what to
do about this message
