I installed a new Western Digital 60 Gb hard drive on a
Dell pc. I then put the Windows XP cd(not the upgrade,
full version) in the drive and did a reboot.
I get a messasge NTDLR missing and the system stops
Whats up

Funny you posted this. I did the very same thing yesterday.
I had to go into the BIOS system setup (usually you press
F2 to pull it up) after reboot and change the the order of
the drives for configuration. I don't remember which
subheading it is under, but I think that it is
called "Boot."

Then you have to make your CDROM drive the first thing
your computer uses to boot the OS. Then when you save the
changes and restart the computer, it should open up the
Windows installation program.

Just as a side note, you will have to make sure that your
Hard drive is configured and formatted before you continue
with setup.

Hope this helps.
