I've just upgraded my harddrive and RAM so I can load up XP, but during
load up I get 'a fatal error' message. Any suggestions much
appreciated!

Thanks Will for reply.

I have managed to load XP by reverting back to original RAM so I will
not be using the extra memory I installed. Seems to work now. Faulty
memory?
Thanks again.

Hi Jules

You would have to test the memory to make sure, but it could be faulty RAM. Search www.google for memtest.exe and run it over night.

The other possibility is the wrong type of RAM.
