When i startup, MSN messenger is loaded before my
firewall.
As a result messenger cannot log in. Any idea as to what
can be done to reverse the loading sequence?

Typically, the firewall is among the very first programs to load. However,
the user interface for the firewall - the part that you see in your system
tray or on the screen - loads later.

The presence or absence of a firewall has nothing to do with your ability to
log in to MSN Messenger, unless you established a rule prohibiting MSN
Messenger from accessing the Internet.

There is third-party software out there claims to be able to order the
sequence of events at startup. However, I do not believe that such
manipulation is supported by Microsoft. If I am wrong I hope someone will
correct me.
