loading links while idle ??

I'm looking to speed up my crappy dial-up internet connection. I suspect
the programs available do little/nothing. If I am wrong, and you can
recommend any, PLEASE let me know.

However, I know one thing that will work: for the program to load up the
links (after the initial website is loaded). Is there a super simple
freeware program to do this??

Basically any recommendations for speed-up/cache/preloading of websites
would be MUCH appreciated

Im also on dialup so i have same problems as you. Try this:

1. Install some ad blocker (proxomitron)
2. Use tabbed browser (Crazy browser, Avant browser) and browse multiple
pages on same time
3. Use blocking trough HOSTS file
4. Use DNS caching (Outpost firewall has one with some nice ad blocking)
5. For preloading try to find Naviscope (i used it some time ago i
*think* it has preloading with some other nice features)

You cant push trough dialup more than it can (5-6 kb/s) so i think that
best way to speed up browsing is to clear pages of ads and keep
connection busy while connected.
