Loading error

Please help,
I am trying to load Farcry but during instalation i
recieve a message saying" Error 1311.Source file not
found :D/Game.cab. verify file exsists and that you can
access it"
What does all that mean ???....Please help.....

Someone mentioned to cut and paste may help,and paste on
hard drive? i have tried but to no avail.I had this
trouble with cm4 and pasted the file again on hard drive
i think , and the game loaded fine.D: is my disc drive

I have found out through experience that a program that

did not complete sucessfully first time or anytime it is
wise to get rid of the failed attempted files, all you
can find, do a search I do registry too, but don't if you
don't feel sure of yourself,there search "Farcry".
Do you have Norton , if so disable it before starting
your install.
Quit all programs that are running.
Right-click anywhere on the desktop, point to New, and
then click Folder.
Type Temporary Install Files to name the folder, and then
press ENTER.
Double-click the Temporary Install Files folder.
On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
Click the View tab. Under Hidden files and folders, click
Show hidden files and folders, and then click OK.
Insert Farcry CD into your CD-ROM drive or DVD-ROM drive.
Hold down the SHIFT key to prevent the program from
starting automatically.
Copy the contents of the CD into the Temporary Install
Files folder.
Remove the Farcry CD.
In the Temporary Install Files folder, double-click
Setup.exe, and then follow the on-screen instructions to
install Farcry.
