I've created a project and saved it (as a Movie maker project). When I try
to open the project it won't load up completely, and then Movie Maker freezes
up. I've had this happen on both my desktop system at work and on my laptop
at home. I want to open up my project and do a "save as" that can be burned
onto a CD. I have Movie Maker V 2.1.4026.0

Graham Hughes: Thank you for your response. My project consists of still
photographs (jpg), fade transitions, and an audio file (wma). As you
suggested, I checked the filter options and found that none were selected.
(there is only one filter to select from called InterVideo Audio Decoder).
By default it was not selected. I tried selecting it to see if there was a
difference, but there wasn’t. The majority of my 60 or so photos range in
file size from 1.5MB to about 3.5MB and the audio file is about 4.6MB. Could
file size of the components be an issue?

PS: I have not installed any new software, but did save the project on an
external mass storage device as well as my hard drive (both at home and at
work)

It may be because of the jpegs, these sometimes don't work well in MM. YOu
may have to redo the whole project, but use bitmap images - change the ones
you have using a photo editing app, or try opening your project on as many
pc's as you can lay your hands on and see if one of them works.
