Loader.exe application error

Starting from today, I've got an application error on Win
2000 Professional start up. As soon as the active desktop
goes running, a message box appears telling the
application loader.exe has caused a memory error.
Then I click the OK button, and windows 2000 works
normally.

I also update the OS with SP4, but I still see the error.

Does anybody know what I can do to eliminate the problem,
please?

Thanks in advance.

Remove loader.exe. It is most likely spyware from what I've seen in other posts. It happens when you activate Active Desktop.
When you use Active Desktop, your desktop essentially becomes much like a web browser. Loader.exe now detects a way to the Internet
and tries to start a network connection. www.lavasoft.com look for Adaware.
