Hi all,
I'm having the following problem on a Windows 2000 Server.
The problem is that if I use the TCP/IP Properties GUI to import my
LMHOSTS file, the Netbios cache shows my LMHOSTS information and all
seems to work as expected. BUT, if I just put out the same LMHOSTS
file, import "EnableLMHOSTS"=dword:00000001 into the registry and
execute nbtstat -R, the cache is wiped out and not reloaded.
I would like to script this in order to be able to make this change on
other machines without visiting each one. Can someone please help me
understand what goes on under the hood when the "Import LMHOSTS" button
is clicked on the WINS tab?
Thanks in advance
Cory
