LiveMessenger & Windows Messenger

if I download Live Messenger will my existing Messenger contacts work through
Live Messenger. Other words if they do not have Windows Live (only Messenger)
will they appear thru Live Messenger? Hope you all understand this post. If
so, Thanks in advance for the help!
 
Hi,

Yes, the contacts are stored on the server per Windows Live ID and are available to all
Windows Live applications that you sign in (Live Mail, Live Messenger, older versions of
Messenger et al).
