In Add/Remove when I try to delete Live Update I get the message that there
are still items registered to Symantec. It lists five entries which I cannot
find in the registry or in Search. It asks if I am sure I want to delete them
"Yes or No". Is it safe to delete?

Live Update is used by virtually *all* Symantec or Norton products,
including things like pcAnywhere. If you have actually deleted these,
yes, you can uninstall LiveUpdate.

At worst, you'll have to reinstall the Symantec app you didn't realize that
you still had installed.
