I've got a hotmail account I've had for years. I can't open it up using
Vista anymore, but my XP box works fine.
If I had to guess, I woudl say it started about a week ago. Was there an
update that is now causing this?
The page loads, but very slowly. I also see that the network icon
disconnects and reconnects.
 
See comments in microsoft.public.msn.discussion, also
microsoft.public.internet.mail. These appear to be the default Hotmail
newsgroups. There was indeed an update to the Hotmail portal. Deleting
cookies may help.

You can also read your Hotmail/Live mail now using Windows Live Mail and
Outlook Connector, the second requiring Outlook.
