I know this is no big deal.. but I used to have a little picture next to my
name on the start menu.. yes it's the classic view, how do i get it back?
thanks.. Rainy

Rainy,
You need to use the XP Style view, and enable the "Welcome" screen, when XP starts up.

1. XP Style view:
Right-click START button> Properties> Start Menu tab> Select Start Menu (the top one).

2. Enable Welcome screen:
Control Panel> User Accounts> Change way logon/logoff Computer> Check Welcome screen box.

The picture might not be included in the theme that you're using. If the
picture is a part of the theme, there are settings in Windows Blinds to use
your icon or the theme's icon.

One of my favorite themes used to include the user icon. On a recent
update, it was dropped. Miss it but like the theme well enough, I stick
with it.

Hi sharon... Yes I also have my favorite.. indebted is the one I am using
now...liqnite, and also risky biz is very cool... :) I guess that is off
topic.. anyway I have poked around in user settings and can't find where the
choice would be about the icons.. maybe it's because I am using the free
version.. can you tell me where it might be.. thanks, it's always nice
hearing from you.. rainy

Don't know if it's in the free version or not but it's under
Settings> User Overrides.

"Dogmax" is my favorite blue theme (one that doesn't have a user icon).
Currently using "Stealth" which gives the transparent glass like effects.
Similar to the screenshots for Windows Vista "glass" that you can find on
the internet.

Yes, I guess this is off topic but it's nice "seeing" you around :)

thanks.. I changed blinds and got my picture back.. not that I care if the
picture is there, but if it's my computer acting funny, then I would like to
see the picture there... :) Rainy
