Unfortunate to have to eat in one of these gaffs today - I noticed a poster on the wall proclaiming:

'We only serve british outdoor reared sausages'

Is this a form of discrimination ;)

What if a lamb chop wanted to get a coffee and a snack :D
Would they refuse to serve it?

Or could the poster have actually meant that if you ordered a meal containing sausage, they would only serve you a sausage that had been raised free range, happily scurrying around outdoors and foraging from the ground :D

BTW, they missed a great marketing opertunity - if they had written the poster:

British Outdoor 'Appily Reared Sausages,

they would have had the acronym 'BOARS

I think you may be right! :D

.......can't be that many Little Chefs left these days, weren't they sold off a while ago?

They are implying that the pork offered is reared in a humane way in open fields as to being couped up in sheds.
Oh hold on a mo i'm typing something sensible here!:p

We had to nip over to Lincolnshire to pick up an ebay 'bargain'

Little Chefs still seem to thrive out there..... this one had a Burger King franchise.

We had the (Non burger king option) - 2x veggie burgers and chips, one coffeee, one fruit juice.

It cost £15.00 for both and was pretty unpleasant.

Got some entertainment value from the poster, though

I thought they had a bit of an 'aftertaste'

Burger King fry their beanburgers in the same oil as the chicken, but if you ask for a 'veggie' burger, they often tell you this.
