Hi All,

I have FP2000. Recently I noticed that listing the local files takes too
long and the server drops the connection. I can open the server with FP and
it seems my own FP client problem. Can someone advise?

Thanks In Advance

How many files are in the web? Maybe break it into some sub webs and
publish individually. Is the PC fast enough/ got enough memory?

Delete your browser cache and history files.
Also, with your local web open in FrontPage,
delete the temporary web files,
Tools > Web Settings> Advanced > Delete files.

To tweak or "retweak" your connection:
Internet Explorer> Tools> Options > Programs tab >
Reset Web Settings ( uncheck reset my home page in the pop up )
Close and then reopen Internet Explorer afterwards.

Go to www.speedguide.net and download and
run the free TCPOptimizer and set it to Optimum for
your connection type.
( Requires restart so make sure everything is
shut down when you run it )
( It does not run in the background, only when you run it )
