I need, more than anything, the List View to be Locked In. How is this made so? I'm sick of the 'Tiles' view being the 1st view everytime i change which folder or file i wish to view, and then having to click, click, click to change the view every time, which is a hundred times an hour.

Make your settings for one folder, then go to Tools > Folder Options >
View and press the "Apply to all Folders" button.
If this does not help: Delete the Registry keys
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\Bags and
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Shell\BagMRU, both with
all the subentries, then create new keys "BagMRU" and "Bags" here. At
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\ShellNoRoam create a new
DWORD entry
BagMRU Size
and set this to
5000 (decimal)
Restart the computer, then re-do.

IT Works! Thanks Thorsten! I read the help but didn't 'Get it'. Your directions were simpler somehow. List view heaven here. Thanks, thanks, thanks
Lal
