List functionality?

Is the list functionality available in Excel 97 for Windows? I have
created a worksheet in Excel 2000 for Mac and saved it as an Excel 95-
97 file. The functionality remains in the Mac (Excel 97 format) file but I
am told that it disappears when the file is opened from Excel 97 on a
PC. Is my user missing something?
 
Hi Kathi,

If you mean Custom Lists, they are stored only on the machine they were
created in, regardless of whether it is a PC or Mac.

You could put the list in a worksheet, and import it from that sheet into
the Custom Lists on the other machine.
