Word 2003
When using a list format, e.g., 1. 2. 3., ..., and the sentence extends
beyond the margin, it wraps properly to the next line, but it begins at
the left margin. I want it to begin at the first tab stop where the
preceding line (words) begin. If I try to tab the second line to the
tab stop, it also shifts the line above, including the line item number
to the tab stop.
Example:
1. This line starts on the tab as it should
but this line begins at the margin.
2. I want this line to begin at the tab as it does
but I want this line to also begin at the tab.
How do I fix or prevent this problem illustrated in 1.?
