List Boxes

I have a list box that is tied to a column in a linked excel spreadsheet. I
can see the items in the list box, and I can highlight them, but I am not
able to actually select the items. How do I go about correcting this?

Can you explain what you mean by a list box tied to Excel? Is the Control
Source or Row Source linked to the Excel table?

If you can highlight them, what do you mean by not being able to select
them?
