List box instead of a text box in a parameter query

Hai,

When we generate a parameter query, a window opens with a text box asking
for a user input. If the report or a Data access pages has its control source
set to a parameter query the same thing happens. Is it possible to have a
list box in this window wherein the user has to select instead of typing.

Hai,

adding to the question above,

I have just read a question and reply on a similar subject in the discussion
group database wherein it is advised to open a form with a combo box and then
write a code to run the query after the press of acommand button.

In the case of a data access page, is there any solution as the access/form
will not be open when a user is accessing the page directly? Thank you.
