This is the beauty of LinuxBBQ, it gives you the freedom and the full control over your computer. As long as you have an open mind, you're brave enough to ask, and ready to take advice we guarantee that you will have a lot of fun and that you will learn a lot about GNU/Linux with LinuxBBQ.

We believe the entirety of the Linux landscape has its worth to the general Linux community, and it would be silly to exclude a certain WM/DE or application based upon little more than prejudice and hearsay. So, we allow users an easy way to try them all out, but each with a setup that will work (and work well) on nearly every computer out there (with some unavoidable exceptions of course), and we encourage users to "Roast Your Own".

This looks like a neat development for penguin users.

You can try out pretty quickly various options to see if they fit you and once you have found one and customised it to fit, you then have an easy way to create an .iso. Which is a darn useful feature for families/groups/small businesses who wish to run the same os.
