I installed Linux Mandrake on my second hard drive, and it didn't work, so I wanted to remove it. The only way I could figure out to do this was to install a second copy of Win XP on my second hard drive. I have since formatted that drive, but I still get a menu on booting which asks me do I want to boot 1) Win XP or 2) Win XP. How do I get my computer to stop trying to recognize a second copy of Win XP which, in fact, isn't even there? Is this a registry problem? BIOS? Help, please!!!

1. Go to Start > Run and type in: MSCONFIG , and hit enter,
2. Click the BOOT.INI tab.
3. Next, click "Check All Boot Paths".
4. This procedure should correct your BOOT.INI file.
