OK I did it..I installed Linux Mint....I installed it within Windows Vista..Couldn't be arsed doing any sort of partitioning......Are the any useful guides to help me out....? And can somebody tell me how to slow me fricking mouse pointer down....Mine is acting like a crack head on a combination of speed/heroin and crack....

The otehr thing as its installed within Vista can I acsess files and folders that are on Vista from Mint...?

OK... I'm assuming you downloaded the .iso onto your Windoze desktop and installed it "from" there. In that case, the operative word is "Wubi":

Accessing stuff (applies to Wubi installs only):

The Windows partition where you installed Wubi is available as /host within Ubuntu (places > computer > file system > host) All the other partitions will be available under places > removable media
