A tool for sharing your broadband connection and using WIFI.

About:
Linux LiveCD Router allows you to share your broadband connection and use
WIFI. You can use it with DSL, cable modem, T1, ISDN, and dialup
connections. You can use it as a Firewall, or build an access point using
most WiFi cards. It does not require any installation, but requires a
dedicated computer to boot and run the CD.

Changes:
This release adds Frottle (Freenet Throttle) packet scheduling and QoS for
wireless networks and mesh WiFi at /opt/frottle. There is a new default
config for MRTG graphical network statistics, and updated documentation.

This is an interesting project to say the least. Essentially Shorewall
firewall with some nice enhancements. And I rather like the idea of
putting a wifi card in the back of an older box to use this as a wifi
access point for SOHO. May take a bit of studying.
