Interesting - practically everything there comes standard with every
distro. I know there are tons more programs available in most of
those categories, too. I suspect a lot of people stick with the
standard apps that have been around for a while. On every issue of
Linux Format magazine's CD, there are scores of new programs that do a
lot of different things. You'd think something would have stood out
enough to get a "favorites" mention.
