Linux file copy to Windows

I would like to automate the copy or cut and paste of
some files on a linux server to a windows 2000 server.
What has to be installed on the Windows server to do
this? NFS services? Where can I download this or install
it from? Any white paper on this?

Thanks.

It would actually be much easier to install and configure Samba on the Linux
system, and then automate the pull from the Windows system as you would in
any other instance (schedule batch file, etc.). Setting up Samba takes
about five to ten minutes, if you read the instructions.

Excellent call. I started to get a little ornery trying
to figure out Windows SFU. Assembling meaningful
documentation was like piecing together an archeological
find.

Thanks.

I can only imagine. Personally, I've never once been able to justify using
the package. And that's saying something, because I've been working mixed
environments as long as I've been working in the field. There's always been
an easier way...
