Hey all,

I was exploring CPanel on a linux web server that I hardly ever mess with
and just noticed that there is now a ASP choice (?). Does this mean that
linux/ASP will work with MYsql which is available on this host package?

oh the humanity

tnx,
/R

ASP will work with any OLEDB-compliant database, including MySql.

I never knew it could even...I was thinking of using it for an asp/database
photogallery thing...I've a feeling it won't work though...as i am guessing
there will be a mis-match with photogallery's based on asp needing access or
mssql. I can't move this web to another server or i would move it to ms
server. I've got tons of images on it too.

| BUT ASP/VBScript doesn't run so good on *nix....

Hey, I didn't say it would run well. I honestly don't know the answer to
that one. But I know it will run.
