When I connect with a Linksys WUSB54G adapter, I ccan
connect to my router and everything is fine for around 45
seconds. Then the computer shuts down and restarts.
During the 45 seconds I hace internet access and it
appears to run just fine. Any suggestions? Thanks

Do you have Service Pack 2 installed? Since when do you have
this problem?

It is probably an issue related to a driver.

I get a sinilar problem, courtesy of downloading SP 2.
When I boot, the driver seems to load but only connects
to the wireless router. I have to go to the properties of
the wireless network and "repair" the connection.
Needless pain.

First is to make sure that there is no Linksys management app running in
the background. Start/Run command:msconfig, select the startup tab,
uncheck Linksys *anything* that is running. If you prefer, run the
Linksys app, but then disable the Wireless Zero Configuration Service.

Charles,

check and remove adware and viruses from your computer. Repair
the Winsock. Details at http://www.michna.com/kb/WxSP2.htm.
