Anyone have problems installing this darn thing on a
windows 2000 laptop?

Everytime I try to install it, I get two error messages
that say..

msiexec.exe has generated error. A log is being written.
You will need to restart the program.

and

" is not a valid integer.

Linksys is about as helpful as a bad case of jock
itch...anyone seen this and know where I should go with it?

Is the hardware you are trying to install on the win2000 compatibility list
(hcl)? See:

Another idea. Do you have any other wireless drivers
installed that may be loading, even internal wireless
adapters that come with most laptops these days can and
will conflict with the Linksys. I had a similiar issue
with a laptop device because the user had a belkin driver
installed. Once he removed the belkin driver, and re-
installed the Linksys he was fine. Good Luck.... I know
Linksys is not much help either..
