LINKSYS LAN CARD DRIVER WONT LOAD ON XP

I HAVE AN AMD K7S5A,WIN FOX GFORCE 4,CREATIVE AUDIGY 2 AND
RUNNING XP PRO.WITH 256 MEM.
I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A LINKSYS 10/100TX VER.5.1 LAN CARD
THE COMPUTER RECONISES THE CARD,NAMES THE CARD.
THE DRIVER WIZZARD TELLS ME CANNOT INSTALL THIS HARD WARE
THERE WAS A PROBLEM INSTALLING THIS HARDWARE; ETHERNET
CONTROLLER;AN ERROR OCCURED DURIN THE INSTALATION OF THIS
DEVICE DATA IS INVALID.
I HAVE DOWNLOADED THE UPDATE FROM LINKSYS FOR VER.5.1 BUT
GET SAME MESSAGE.
PRODUCT IS SUPPOSED TO BE XP COMPATABLE.
ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY RECIEVED.

Please turn off your Caps Lock key. It's considered shouting, is extremely
rude and makes the posting very difficult to read.

I have 2 XP Pro PCs both with the same card. Had no problems with either of
them. You may wish to try reseating the card in a different PCI slot.
