Hi,
Start/run regedit, navigate to this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
Delete the strings from the right-hand pane that represent the sites you
wish to remove. Close the registry editor.
Go to the Control Panel/Internet Options/Content tab, click on autocomplete.
Uncheck the web addresses entry.

When I open IE and type "www" in the browswer window a second window opens

with a list of a great many websites. I have attempted to delete these
websites both collectively and individually and have no success. I am
wondering how to erase these links. I have no use for them and they are
annoying.
