When i post a link in an email it does not come out as a link at the
recipients end.Just and address that they have to copy/paste.
Is there a way to sort this.
thanks

What email program are you using? Outlook Express? Or is this web-based
email, like Hotmail or Gmail? I take it the links your recipients are
getting are not clickable?

The problem can be on your end, or it can be on their end - the latter is
especially true for AOL users.
Make sure you type the full URL to have the best chance at getting a
clickable link on the receivers' end - http://www.cnn.com for instance, not
just www.cnn.com Also, make sure you leave a space before and after the
URL. xxxhttp://www.cnn.com <===not clickable, for instance.

See this site for the formatting issue of clickable links with AOL users:

Windows version? Mail Client, if any?

If you send yourself such an email, is the link clickable?

Hi,
It's the recipient's e-mail program that recognizes something like
http://uk.yahoo.com as a hyperlink. If you're including the http:// and/or
www then the problem is on their end.

That's why links aren't "clickable" while you're composing a message. You
would have to send it to yourself. After you receive the message, Outlook
Express will recognize hyperlinks.

Hope this helps,
