This happens only on a particular website - www.kaspersky.com.
Considering this is one of the top sites for antivirus products it is
pretty bad. However, having switched to Mozilla browser some of the
lnks now appear to work. The particular link that I cannot get to work
with IE6 is under the Resources header - 'Free Virus Scanner'.

Anybody have any ideas?

Chances are the a Trojan infection is blocking access to the Kaspersky
website and those of many other anti-virus providers, Frank.

What anti-virus application do you have installed? Can you manually update
its definitions? Does it update automatically every day?

Also state your Windows version in your reply.

I've managed to sort this now. I had 3rd party browser extensions
checked under Tools/Internet options/Advanced. It seems other people
had similar problems to me when this option was checked. Unchecking it
solved the link problem and Kaspersky's scanner found no problems with
my drives.
