Links won't open in a new window

I am running Windows XP Pro with IE6. When I try to open a
link in new window or click on a link that automatically
opens in a new window, the window opens, but the
information doesn't load. It just hangs as an empty
window. I even had to go to another computer to send this
message. Please help! If you wish you can reply directly
to (e-mail address removed)
