Links within same document

I'm using Word2000. I have a 30 page document. I only access thi
document in e-format (never hardcopy). At the top of my first page,
want to have a index of sections (in the same document). When you clic
a section title (in the index) I want to jump to that section (in th
same document).

I am able to do this! I know how to use headings and bookmarks. Bu
when I save the document, then open it again - it doesn't work.

Any suggestions? What am I doing wrong
 
If you used Word's heading styles, try generating a table of contents.
