Links Toolbar

Coincidence or not? I installed Google desktop, then noticed that my links
toolbar in IE 6 had changed. Now instead of the previous links displaying, a
"more" file folder displays and then what appears to be a list of the most
recently visited sites. What happened? I had to manually put the links back
on the toolbar and now it is forcing me to put them in alpha order instead of
how I want them. Not a big deal, but very annoying.

Hi duder :-)

You don't mention the version of Windows you are using, but, Google toolbar,
as well as Yahoo and MSN, are known to cause such problems. Disable it and
see if that resolves your problem.

also.....

See this site for possible help:
http://toolbar.google.com/fixmenu
After clicking the button, close all IE windows and reopen IE. Your IE
toolbars will be rearranged to their default locations. Unlock your IE
toolbar, make all the necessary rearrangements, then lock your IE toolbar
again.

also..

Registry entries defining their content and position may be messed up. See
http://www.popupcop.com/help/faq-toolbar.html#1.

You may find this is only one of many IE problems caused by the Google
Toolbar.

Hope this helps.
