At work, I use a Link Toolbar I have created for easy quick access to
my links. Some of those links are organized into folders. On one
computer, if I click on the folder, it opens as a pull down menu. This
is the desired method of opening it. On Another, it just opens the
folder in a window. I know if I hoild CTRL while clicking the folder it
will open as a pull down menu, But I want to be able to just click it
normally, like I can on the other computer. I have looked at the
settings and folder options for everything on both computers, and both
seemingly are set up identically. Any know what I'm missing?

I think I have what you are looking for, but I don't know how I created
it. In bookmarks.html there is an entry called "Personal Tool Bar". In
there is my Links directory in addition to my frequently used links.
These get displayed in a bar across the top of FireFox screen and if I
click on my Links, it drops a menu with my dozen or so entries.
Good luck.

that would be the best way to fix the problem...except that
unfortunately..I cannot use firefox here at work. The pages I have to
load for some reasn do not load properly in firefox, so they have
disable the ability to even download it, let alon try to use it. But
nice idea..I wish I could use firefox..I hate IE...
