links to the uses of two CDRW/DVD Combo drives together

I have one of these drives with a bad block and now I have a new later model
.. I'm just wondering if there is a way to use them together to my advantage .
 
you know , to remove the bad block . What else can I do wotj 2 drives , yes
I could copy files from one drive to the other but I want to find out what
else I can do with them .

Bad blocks on a CD/DVD drive usually means a bad CD/DVD disk. Have you
checked the media disk???
