I'm creating a slideshow to be used within a work group here at the office. We want each section in the office to be able to update their slide and then have all sections slides show up at a weekly briefing. I can create links to a slide for each section to work on, the problem comes when a section needs more than one slide

How can I have multiple slides from one link show up on the slideshow without having to click on the screen? I need all slides from all links to flow seamlessly into a briefing.

Sounds like a great use of picket fence show linking.

Each section would have their own show (i.e. Sales.ppt, Advertising.ppt,
CustService.ppt) that they could update at will, including adding extra
slides, charts, etc.

The just make a Master Presentation that links to each of them in
succession. Between each, I'd put a nice slide with an image of the company
logo, or something else that would impress the boss. Perhaps you could even
create a links section at the bottom, that would jump to the named section
when clicked. Very corporate, very cool.

Hello,

PowerPoint does not provide the option to seamlessly daisychain
presentations together. The PowerPoint Viewer comes close to this
capability with playlists, but there is still a noticeable transition
(black screen) from the end of one presentation to the beginning of the
next. There are some workarounds (as others have already communicated in
earlier replies to your message).

If you (or anyone else reading this message) thinks that is important for
PowerPoint to provide support for chaining multiple presentations together,
don't forget to send your feedback to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
