Links to PPT docs in slide show

Is there a way to create a link to a ppt doc that automatically goes to the
"download" option OR to a ppt editing mode INSTEAD of slide show (like links
to Word docs and Excel docs)?

Zip the ppt and then create a link to it...of course your users will have to know how to unZip a file.

If you go to www.swishzone.com -> there is a free program to download that
lets you convert you .ppt to lash and display right on your site
