Hello All

When I open my workbook, I get a message saying it is linked to another workbook. However, I can't find the cells with the links. I do see the link under Edit -> Links. How do I find the cells......I want to get rid of the link

Thanks

Hi

Depending on the version of excel u r using and presuming that the linked
cells r on the same sheet. you could do the following

1) ctrl + ~. which would display all the items (actual cell contents not
data), here u could see the linked cells.

2) If the above is to much trouble Ctrl + F--- "*.xls", which would locate
all the cells in the sheet, if the linked cells are in other sheets alps
CTRL + F (change within criteria to work book)

Try Bill Manville's excellent FindLink utility

It's available at Stephen Bullen's page:
