I nees to perform a presentation using Powerpoint 2000, and reference Autocad
drawings. Can i create a link so when clicked it opens up the relevant
autocad drawing ? i use Autocad 2004 or AutoCAD lt 2004.

I need to be able to switch from powerpoint to AutoCAD with ease.

Have you tried this:

Draw a button or whatever you'd like to click on to launch the cad drawing
Rightclick the button/whatever and choose Action Settings
On the Mouseclick tab, choose Hyperlink to: and pick Other File. Choose your
cad file in the dialog that appears and OK your way back out.

Clicking the button in PPT will then give you the functional equivalent of
doubleclicking the same file in Win Explorer, with the exception that some
versions of PPT will display an annoying virus warning message.
